Getting More Value for Your Dollar
Smart shoppers know IGA brand items deliver quality at a lower cost than competing national brands, but did you know how much you can save?
This picture of a display at the Schofield Quality Foods IGA provides a dramatic comparison.
The two tables have nearly identical products on them. Every item that is on the left table is a national name brand item. Each has a corresponding IGA brand item on the right table. They include everything from sugar to laundry soap to chips to snack bars, dressing, cereal, and paper towels.
In short, there is very little difference between the two tables...except the total price.
If you were to purchase everything on the national name brand table, your total bill would be $106.71. The Quality Foods brand table, however, would go for only $68.43.
That's a savings of $38.28!
